Strategic Brief
The Core Narrative

June 21 is the 128th Philippine Independence Day commemoration. SariKo launches the SAPI storefront on that exact day. The throughline: on the day we celebrate Filipino independence, Filipino sellers in Saigon open their own digital storefronts. That is the campaign spine.

Two Audiences, Two Channels

Facebook: Filipino community in HCMC. Buyers, sellers, event attendees, people who know SAPI. All 15 posts. Warm, personal, community-first.

LinkedIn: Investors, press, founders, accelerators. 5 posts only. Milestone and platform framing. No ticket CTAs.

Three Pillars

1. Something real is being built for this community.

2. The people behind it already have your trust. (SAPI credibility)

3. June 21 is the moment you become part of it.

Bayanihan angle: The event name itself is the campaign thread. Bayanihan means community lifting together. SariKo is bayanihan in commerce form. Every seller on the platform is an act of bayanihan. Let the event name do the work across every phase.

Something is coming for our community here in Saigon. I have been working on this for a long time. And in a few weeks, something I am genuinely proud of is going to happen right here in Ho Chi Minh City. I cannot say everything yet. But if you are part of the Filipino community here, this one is for you. Watch this space.

SAPI Introduction
Clean graphic: SAPI logo + SariKo logo side by side
Not everyone here knows about SAPI, the Samahang Pinoy Vietnam. But if you have been part of the Filipino community in Ho Chi Minh City for any amount of time, you have felt their presence. They are the organization that has been keeping our community together, celebrating our culture, and looking out for Filipinos living here in Vietnam. On June 21, SariKo and SAPI are doing something together that I believe our community has been waiting for. More details coming soon.

What Is SariKo
Marketplace screenshot or sariko.store branded graphic
If you have never heard of SariKo, here is the short version. SariKo is a marketplace built specifically for Filipinos living abroad. Not Shopee. Not Facebook Marketplace. Something built for our community, with Filipino sellers, Filipino products, and Filipino trust at the center of it. We soft-launched in April. We now have 19 sellers live. Zero paid marketing. Just community and word of mouth. And on June 21, we are taking a big step forward. Visit sariko.store and see for yourself.

Traction + Platform Story
Same graphic as Facebook or clean founder photo
We soft-launched SariKo in April with zero paid marketing spend. Nineteen sellers are now live on the platform. All of them found us through community, word of mouth, and trust. Not a single dollar in acquisition cost. On June 21, we are taking the next step: SariKo's grand launch, in partnership with SAPI, the Samahang Pinoy Vietnam, at PINASayang Bayanihan 2026, the 128th Commemoration of Philippine Independence. SariKo is a diaspora commerce marketplace built for Filipinos living abroad. Node 1 of Pangea, our Global Diaspora Commerce Platform. Ho Chi Minh City is the first city. The model is designed to replicate, city by city, across 280 million diaspora globally. More on what is happening June 21 in the next few days. Visit sariko.store.

Alright. Here it is. On June 21, SariKo is proud to be part of PINASayang Bayanihan 2026, the 128th Commemoration of Philippine Independence, organized by SAPI, the Samahang Pinoy Vietnam. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Victory Hotel, 14 Vo Van Tan, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. And on that day, the official SAPI storefront on SariKo goes live. Shirts, event merchandise, and more, available directly through our platform, delivered to you right here in Saigon. This is SariKo's grand launch. And there is no more fitting moment for it: on the day we celebrate Filipino independence, Filipino sellers in this city open their own digital storefronts. Tickets are available through Mr. Tin Anadilla, SAPI Secretary. Reach him on Facebook at facebook.com/tin.anadilla.08 or on Zalo at [ZALO TBC]. Save the date. June 21. We would love to see you there.

Partnership Announcement + Investor Framing
Event poster or clean milestone graphic
Today I am announcing something I have been building toward for a long time. On June 21, SariKo is partnering with SAPI, the Samahang Pinoy Vietnam, to launch the first official institutional Filipino organization storefront on a diaspora commerce platform. The SAPI storefront goes live at PINASayang Bayanihan 2026, the 128th Philippine Independence Day commemoration, at Victory Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Here is why this matters beyond the event. SAPI is one of the most trusted Filipino organizations in Vietnam. When they put their storefront on SariKo, they are endorsing the platform to an entire community. That is not a marketing play. That is institutional validation built from the ground up. This is how SariKo grows: not through paid ads, but through the trust of organizations that already serve the communities we are building for. SariKo is Node 1 of Pangea, our Global Diaspora Commerce Platform. The SAPI partnership is the model. We are building it to replicate.

Seller Story: Teresa Cantuba
Warm photo of Teresa or her food (confirm permission first)
Let me tell you about Teresa. Teresa Cantuba runs Lutong Quezon, a small home kitchen here in Saigon. She makes Filipino food the way you remember it: real ingredients, real recipes, real care in every dish. She was the first seller to join SariKo. Not because she had a polished brand or a massive following. She joined because she believed our community deserved a real place to find her food. She is Founding Seller number one. And she is a big part of the reason I believe all of this works. On June 21, you are going to be able to order from Teresa and from sellers like her through SariKo. That is what PINASayang Bayanihan looks like to me. Find Teresa at app.sariko.store.

Meet Elvira. She runs LV's Imported Dry Goods and has been one of the most reliable sources for Filipino groceries in this city for a long time. Over 77 products. More than 2,200 people following her work on Facebook. Now she is on SariKo. She is Founding Seller number four, and she represents something I see all the time in our community: Filipinos who built real businesses out of pure grit, with no platform designed specifically for them. SariKo exists because of sellers like Elvira. Find her at app.sariko.store.

SAPI Storefront Reveal Tease
Teaser graphic: SAPI storefront concept on SariKo UI, Philippine flag colors accent
Happy Independence Day. And here is something to mark the occasion. Nine days from now, the official SAPI storefront on SariKo goes live. The Samahang Pinoy Vietnam will have a dedicated digital store on our platform, selling event merchandise, shirts, and more, available directly to the Filipino community here in Ho Chi Minh City. It is the first time our community's most trusted Filipino organization in Vietnam has a real digital home on a platform built specifically for us. Nine days. June 21. Victory Hotel, District 3. Tickets through Mr. Tin Anadilla on Facebook at facebook.com/tin.anadilla.08 or Zalo at [ZALO TBC].

Product Milestone + Distribution Model
Clean storefront teaser graphic or founder photo
Nine days from now, the official SAPI storefront on SariKo goes live. It is the first time a Filipino community organization in Vietnam has had a dedicated digital storefront on a platform built specifically for the diaspora. And it is the first proof of a model we intend to scale across every Pangea node: organizational storefronts as an acquisition and trust layer for diaspora commerce communities. When an organization like SAPI brings their storefront to SariKo, they bring their entire membership as a built-in buyer base. That is a distribution model that cannot be bought with ads. June 21. Ho Chi Minh City. Watch this space.

What This Means for the Community
Warm community photo, Filipino gathering energy in HCMC
There are about 15,000 Filipinos living in Ho Chi Minh City. Most of us find Filipino goods through Messenger chats, Facebook posts, and word of mouth. There is no dedicated space for us. No platform built around our trust, our products, our community. SariKo is my answer to that. It is not a perfect answer yet. We are still building. But it is a real one. And on June 21, we are opening our doors to the community in a way we have never done before. Bayanihan is not just a word on a poster. It is what this event is going to feel like in practice. If you are a Filipino in Saigon, this is for you. Tickets through Mr. Tin Anadilla on Facebook or Zalo.

Bayanihan as SariKo  —  Philosophical Post
Typography graphic: "Bayanihan is commerce too." or warm brand visual
Bayanihan is one of those words that everyone knows but very few people stop to sit with. It means a community lifting together. It means no one carries the load alone. It means you show up for your neighbor not because you have to but because that is who we are. SariKo is my attempt to build bayanihan into a platform. Every time a seller lists a product and a buyer orders it, that is two Filipinos in Saigon choosing each other over a nameless algorithm. PINASayang Bayanihan 2026 is four days away. And I could not be prouder that this is where SariKo is launching. See you on June 21.

Three days. I have been thinking about what to say as we get closer to June 21. And the words that keep coming back to me are the simplest ones. We built this for you. For the Filipino seller in Saigon who deserved a real platform. For the Filipino buyer who deserved a real store. For the community that has always been here, doing extraordinary things, with tools that were never built for us. June 21. SariKo x SAPI. PINASayang Bayanihan 2026. See you there. Eve of Launch
Personal photo of Poppet, warm and candid, evening tone
Tomorrow. I am not going to sleep very well tonight, and I am completely fine with that. Tomorrow, the SAPI storefront on SariKo goes live. Tomorrow, we open our doors to the Filipino community in Ho Chi Minh City in a way we have never done before. And we are doing it at PINASayang Bayanihan 2026, the 128th commemoration of Philippine Independence. To every seller who trusted us first. To everyone who is coming tomorrow. To Dr. Beth, to Mr. Tin, and to the whole SAPI family who believed in this collaboration. Thank you. We are ready. See you at Victory Hotel tomorrow. 10:00 AM.

Founder Reflection + Investor Signal
Same candid photo or clean navy brand card
Tomorrow we launch. I started building SariKo because I believed the Filipino diaspora deserved a commerce platform built around their trust, their products, and their community. Not a workaround. A real platform. Tomorrow, at PINASayang Bayanihan 2026, the 128th Philippine Independence Day commemoration in Ho Chi Minh City, the SAPI storefront on SariKo goes live. Nineteen sellers are already on the platform. Zero paid marketing to get here. To every founder who told me this was too niche: watch what happens when you build for a community that has been waiting. To every investor watching this space: tomorrow is part of the answer. See you on the other side.

We launched today. PINASayang Bayanihan 2026, the 128th Philippine Independence Day commemoration in Ho Chi Minh City. The SAPI storefront on SariKo went live. The room was full. The community showed up. Here is what we know after today: 19 sellers live on the platform, zero paid marketing to acquire them. The SAPI institutional storefront model works. Filipino community organizations are a legitimate distribution channel for diaspora commerce. SariKo is Node 1 of Pangea, our Global Diaspora Commerce Platform. Ho Chi Minh City is the first city. The SAPI partnership is the first institutional node. Neither will be the last. If you are building in the diaspora commerce or community infrastructure space, I would love to talk. poppet@sariko.store
